Taylor House

Taylor House — a lifelong Sullivan native with a passion for service and a heart for community growth.

A 2021 graduate of Sullivan High School, Taylor has always found purpose in being active and engaged in the place she calls home. After becoming a Chamber member in 2023, Taylor quickly realized she wanted to take a more active role after seeing all the positive work the Chamber was doing in the community. With encouragement and support from fellow Chamber and board members, she submitted her application and was proudly appointed to the Chamber Board in 2024.

Taylor brings a unique and well-rounded background to the board. As a licensed REALTOR® and a lifelong local, she understands the value of connection and communication within a small-town community. Her work across several local businesses reflects her dedication to supporting Sullivan’s economy and the people who make it thrive. Whether through service, small business support, or event coordination, Taylor is committed to helping Sullivan grow while staying true to its roots.

Taylor is currently a student at East Central College, pursuing an Associate of Arts in the Social Sciences Pathway with a focus in Criminal Justice. She plans to continue her education at a four-year university, with aspirations of building a career in victim advocacy and community outreach — all with the goal of bringing that knowledge and impact back home to serve the Sullivan community.

Outside of her professional and academic life, Taylor enjoys kayaking on the Meramec River, strolling through downtown Sullivan, staying active at the gym, volunteering throughout the community, and attending The Ridge Church of Sullivan. These moments reflect not only her love for the area but also her desire to stay deeply connected with the people and places that shaped her.

“I have a need and a desire to volunteer and give back to the town that raised me,” Taylor says. “Joining the Chamber Board is just one more way I can stay involved, support local businesses, and help Sullivan continue to grow and thrive.”
